Who AM I?

Hi, I’m Tom and I started Next Episode Media to combine my three passions: YouTube, podcasts, and video editing.

Kids at school called me weird when they found that my iPod nano wasn’t filled with music, it was filled with hours of people talking. People didn’t know what podcasts were in 2009, but I couldn’t get enough.

I’m also one of those people that became obsessed with YouTube and started making videos around the same time.

It wasn’t until we were locked down in 2020 and two friends invited me to join their podcast. That’s where I found that I could combine my passion and knowledge for podcasts, YouTube and video editing. That podcast fizzled out as the world returned to normal. But that’s where my journey started.

Since then I have worked as a freelance video editor, helping businesses and entrepreneurs tailor their content for YouTube and grow their audience. The goal of Next Episode is to provide that bespoke service to even more creators, founders and entrepreneurs.

This is me in the process of downloading and transferring ‘talkshows’ to my iPod from iTunes (no one called them podcasts back then)
